Hood.

// June 6th, 2006 // pz racing

Just back to Boulder after racing up in Oregon in Mt. Hood. Things went pretty good, squeezed out a stage win and a couple of second places along with second overall to O’neill from HealthNet.

    Um…

    After a phat racing series, with a nice result… THAT is the best post you could come up with? As the acting secretary of the unsilent minority, I must say I’m miffed. I feel cheated.

    Haha. Nice result!

    Cabana Boy,

    I just wondered if you ran into anyone, in your travels, that made derisive ethnic comments toward you or wanted to deport you back to whatever country the Zajiceks come from (your name sounds like it might be durkidurkidurkistani). I am sure that there must be a lot of American cyclists that are plenty pissed off that you came here and took one of their jobs.

    Also, what do you think of Al-Zarqawi’s death (assassination)? Do you think this might escalate the sectarian violence and finally push Iraq into all-out civil war? Or do you think that his death may actually derail some of the insurgency’s steam.

    Thanks.

    Ha. No, the family is from Czech Republic. Been here for a few generations so I don’t think that I’m stealing any jobs from American cyclists. In case you were wondering the Czech Republic is right next to Durkidurkistan.
    As far as Al-Zarqawi’s assasination is concerned I’m hoping that this will stem the insurgency in Iraq. The next few days will be very telling.
